NAPW Orange County Introduced New President and Several Member-Guest Speakers at July Meeting

The Orange County NAPW Chapter met for the first time with new president, Petra Petry at Clubhouse of the Harbor at Mesa Verde Community in Costa Mesa, CA. The meeting took place during lunch on July 28, 2011. It was a perfect venue for a first meeting, allowing members to get to know each other and, of course, focus on networking.

Petra Petry, PhD – Long Term Care Specialist, licensed in CA, IL & FL, is affiliated with the largest brokerage “LTC Financial Partners”. Her brokerage specializes in LTC insurance Nationwide. Long-Term Care Insurance is not just for the elderly. Anyone, at any age, may need assistance with day-to-day living as a result of an injury, accident or illness. Petra took over as President of the Orange County Chapter of NAPW in June 2011. “I am very committed to the success of NAPW networking and the growth of all our members,” she said.

Jennifer Mann is a Mary Kay Independent Sales Director. She stepped up to speak to the Orange County chapter and provided great tips on skin care and how to prevent premature aging. Judy Morgan is a CA Licensed Electrologist. Electrolysis is the process of permanently removing unwanted hair. In this process, a metal filament called a probe that is as thin as a hair is slid into each unwanted hair follicle. This is done with the utmost care so the probe does not puncture the skin. Upon insertion, a very low electric current is delivered to the follicle through the probe, which causes localized damage to the cell that produces the hair.
